FAQs

How is Retreat Interiors different than other design companies?

Our client relationships are of the utmost importance with every project we take on. We take the time to really understand what the client is looking for and how we can create that together. It’s a holistic and personal approach that makes every project special.

What do I need to know before hiring an interior designer?

The initial consultation is very important for both parties and is the deciding factor for compatibility. Not all designers or decorators have the same experience, training or aesthetic style, so that first meeting is crucial. Retreat Interiors practices safe and responsible design and only recommends licensed and talented installers for each project.

What industries or verticals do you serve?

Retreat Interiors focuses exclusively on the residential design market, including home staging consulting for realtors and homeowners. We work with whatever you consider home, your weekend getaway spaces, short / long term rentals, and wherever you want to retreat to.

What does the typical client look like?

Every client is different. Retreat Interiors creates custom solutions for spaces that feel tired, disorganized, or just need refreshing. We work with real estate agents who have properties needing to be sold quickly or are having trouble being sold. We help furnish rentals which are alternatives to hotels and timeshares. No two projects are the same, which helps us bring a fresh approach to every client.

What do I need to get started?

Call or email us and we can go from there. Let’s talk and see how we can help. It’s as easy as that.

How long does it take to get started?

We are amazing multi-taskers and have a support team that can move mountains. In most cases, we can meet with you in person within a few days or have a virtual consultation the same day.

Do you take credit cards?

Yes, of course. Many of our clients place custom furniture orders, so credit cards are never an issue.

How is your product delivered and picked up, if applicable?

We work with a group of select movers and installers, so they can handle all the heavy lifting, pick-up and delivery.

What is my relationship like with your company? Am I just another number?

The client / designer relationship is very personal and one we hold very dear. We get to know our clients. In fact, we very often end up having repeat engagements with their different properties, family, and friends. It’s about the relationship. With Retreat Interiors, you are never just a number. We create together.
